Default I Hope This Isnt A Dumb Question, But....

I just read the thread from the guy asking about whether he should get the Sport or OR model. I didnt even know there was a difference and now I am wondering which one I have. I just bought a 2008, 4x4 Tacoma and it came with 17" wheels and the hood scoop. Which model do you think I have ? Is there a simple way for me to tell ? Also, how do I find out what the specific differences are between the models so I know what specs my truck has.
Forgive me for being so clueless

You definitely have the Sport model.

Sport

Limited Slip Rear
17" Wheels
Hood Scoop
Color matched rear bumper, door handles, and side mirrors, grill

Off-Road

Locking Rear
16" Wheels
No scoop
Chrome rear bumper and grill, black door handles, and black side mirrors

I can't really think what else is different. Maybe the valving on the shocks?

sunflower, there are only three possibilities from the picture you posted.

1. You are illiterate, I find this highly doubtful since you have typed half-way literate posts here.

2. You are mentally handicapped and do not have a grasp of the English language. See response to #1.

3. You have no common sense. I find this answer to be best for the situation at hand. The side of the truck, which I assume is yours since you posted pictures of it, clearly states SPORT. I'm not sure how it could be any clearer.

In response to your thread title, yes this has got to be the dumbest question I have seen on this site.

and no offense, but i assume you have to be female, because any dude with the screen name "sunflower" is asking for a shit ton of ridicule. were your parents hippies or something? if you are a female, i would have still advised you go with something a little tougher than "sunflower", you know, for an offroad website.

on that note, guys, if she is a female, you gotta go easy on her and assume she will try to get you to do everything for her including reading the decal on the side of her truck
