I installed a lift yesterday, it took a while and we ran into some problems, but we got it mostly done.

Front: toytec adjustable coilovers with 650lb rate springs

Rear: OME 891's, bilstein 5125s and extended brake lines

The front went in actually pretty easy and i need to lower the threads on the coils to get a little less lift and better cv angles. The problems we ran into were with the rear lift, I was trying to use some friends used bilstein 5150's but there wasnt enough space to fit them in so I ordered some 5125's to go under it, and we didn't find this out until after we ruined the original shocks to get them out. So I had to run to the parts store and currently I am running som Gabriel G-Force shocks, just as bad as monroe. Also when doing the rear brake line extention we broke the hard line, and that just plain sucked balls. We got it fixed though and the brakes are working good. I am going to be finishing the lift up friday with the bilstein 5125's once they get int.

Now for the pics:

Rear minus good shocks:

Finished product and some flexing:

I think i broke one of the crappy shocks flexing, but hey that means i get to return it under warrenty

Here are some wheeling pics.

Aetna

Texas:

Windrock:
Went to Windrock (Coal Creek), and had a great time. It was a my first run with the new suspension, and first time putting the locker up to a good test.

Also found out that flexing out the rear suspension might break your sway bar. Broke a sway bar mount, so it ended up in the middle of my ome 891's, so we took it off and its gonna stay off. Now my springs become unseated at full flex, I think i need to get some limiting straps.

Going up trail 39

Finding broken sway bar.

Creek bed, where i got to flex my stuff out.

Leaving CC

some more.

I sold my old bfg at's for a nice price and stepped up to some Maxxis Bighorns in 255/85/16's this morning, then i removed the mud flaps and trimmed the rear bumper.

Default Manual Hub install

Got my manual hubs finally installed. After taking them 3 places to get the bearings pressed, 1st couldn't do it, second wouldn't try, and third said they could.

Straightforward swap, the only real problem we ran into was the upper ball joint threads. So we knicked the top off of them, bolted them down and tac welded them instead of the cotter pin.

Removal of old spindle

New one on

Spare CV carrier

The Mossyrocks rear bumper has started

It is going to be a plate bumper, with some tube quarter panel protection.

Mounts are 1/4 inch, and the rest of it is going to be 3/16. It will have a hitch receiver and shackle mounts on it when i get done.

How it looks now, its not much but its the hard part to get mounts and the main cross section planned out.

How it is now
