After two three-day weekends in a row of wheelin I am having heavy withdals. I want to go do payette, mud springs, log corral, something in that general region, on this saturday the 7th. Anybody??

Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

Would water be an issue on Payette?

Not with out rain or a good snow melt. Maybe a few spots of water here and there.

I ran through Pyeatt Draw this past sat.

The snow is gone and just a few mud puddles.

trails are clean, campsites are clean, only found 6 Budlight cans and a handful of diamonds.

There is approx. 18 inches of water at the top obstacle, left line OK and freshly destacked, If you want to try the center you prolly have to wait for June. It is not uncommon for the Rim Country to get a late snow in April.

Flys are hatching and buzzing puddles, I expect there to be a fair number of Yellowjackets this year...

It never happened. The lady and I got puppy the day before, and riding in the truck was too much for a 7 month old lab. Will be planning a trip for real soon.
