Wow, I couldn't believe it when I read the sticker on the door-jamb of my 2012 Tacoma Baja Edition. The Baja comes with BFG All-Terrain TA (265/70-16) tires and Toyota recommends an inflation pressure 46 psi.
I've had these exact same tires on several different vehicles and never run them over 30-35 psi on the street. I dropped the pressure down to 40psi and it rides a little smoother now, but the tire pressure monitoring system warning light is now constantly on. I wonder if there is something I can do to "re-calibrate" the system down to a normal setting of 40psi...

All five sensors need to be within a pound or two of the same pressure as I recall. Did you let air out of the spare as well?
I think the minimum pressure is 32psi, on the TPMS.
