Love them!
I got the 315/75r16 BFG Km2's (the "crawler inspired tread design") so far I love them! Ive been so busy working so I haven't taken them out to play in some dirt yet though. other than the parents driveway when visiting that is haha. Im sure the neighbors love me! they get great traction on wet pavement, aren't too loud. Well i cant hear them over the flomaster anyway! and yes I know this thread is useless without pics ill work on it! haha and hopefully a better review after I go play in the mud and the muck! peace-

Best muds on the market by far! like you said, insanely quiet for a mud and take it from first hand experience, they are awesome in the mud and the dirt!

I don't know about tread life, I would say that it shouldn't be too much different than the old traditional mud km. I still hope to get some 33x10.50 km mud terrains, I am thinking I might be able to get them alot cheaper than the new ones plus I am had them on my old truck with like 20k on them and they were barely showing signs of wear. Call me old school, but I just love those old ones.

I started looking at other online reviews since my last post and some say the sidewalls are a joke... I think it was tirerack.com. I know you can't trust everyones reviews but it still sucks that some people have had some problems with the sidewalls. some also said they were a no-no in rocks.
I was amazed to read all the bad reviews that i read, but different strokes for different folks i guess. google "bfgoodrich km2 review" and you guys can probably see what i mean...

there's a lot of people who trash talk bfg tires. if you look at everyone who's commented, it seems like most of their vehicles either never see dirt or are always hauling some weight.

my uncle gave me a set of 4 BFG MT 31x10.50 all mounted to Mickey Thompson chromes for $200. Only run for 5k miles.
He said it was because he wanted 33's on his Jeep CJ-7. Too bad theyre KM and not KM2... The rims turned out to be 5 lug instead of 6 since they came off a jeep. They've been sitting in my utility room for a year now :\

well I got them at 4wheelparts with the no questions asked garontee so im not too worried! cant be any worse than the pro-suck x-trains I had on it before... I got a sidewall puncture driving on the hwy... I hadn't been offroad in months, hadn't hit or ran over anything and hadn't pissed anyone off resently. procomp is POS-comp in my opinion
like I said I love my km2's so far. Im toying with entering the mud drags here in town next weeks so I might get to test them out! oh did i mention on top of everything they look badass? keep her tween the ditches

my pro comp xmts are very nice tires, but everyone has had a bad experience with one tire or another. you never know what idiot posts a review on tire rack that thinks the tire is a POS because they were running 45mph on 10 psi of air and cant imagine why something went wrong.......gotta be the damn tire right...? LOL

I played a little with them on the rocks, and even not aired down they held up VERY well. I was impressed.

LOVE THEM!!!!
i ran in the local mud drags/boggs here in town and holly hell am i impressed! and no im not ever doing that again! mud everywhere. i spent like an hour with a pressure washer on my back cleaning out all the mud. very happy with them on pavement so far. ride nice and smooth up to 70mph (haven't been higher) wet and dry great traction. great in dirt, awesome in mud and I don't mean the mud puddle in front of the mall.. i mean some of the nastiest snot you can think of. so all i need to do now is hit some sand, and some rocks.

New sizes will be out on 9/1 per BFG. I know for sure the 255/85/16 will be out and the rest of the KM sizes to follow.

I almost bought a set of bfg mt for my Tacoma yesterday. I had a few sets on my 4Runner and have really liked them. Good all around tire. Good on the street, snow, rocks and dirt and last a long time. Are the KM2s worth waiting for and the extra $$$ ? How do they compare to the old mt? They seem to look less aggressive than the original mt.

the new KM2's have bigger gaps between the tread blocks, deeeep sipes, and a better outside treadblock design that extends farther down the sidewall....they look like they're designed better...time will tell how long they last.

I'm interested in getting the new km2's in 255/85/16's. Any idea on pricing yet? How do you all think they would compare to the Maxxis Bighorn's. I'm trying to decide between the two.

beside the huge price difference, id go with bighorns, imho.
the km2s look great but i cant justify the $$$.

Yea, i've heard good things about the bighorns. However, im having a hard time finding the 8 ply in 255/85/16. I can find the 6 ply with no probs. I wish I knew how thick the 2 ply sidewall is. I'd like to know what the price of the KM2's will be.
