Default Idle air control valve?

My truck keeps stalling when first starting it. I have to rev the motor to 2000 rpm for 20 seconds everytime i start the truck and still it will stall sometimes. And then finally it will correct itself and run fine. Wondering where i can purchase one of these, for a reasonable price. Its for a 1995.5 tacoma 2.7l 4x4. Thank you for any help.

I don't think it's your IAC valve, it usually affects idle at temp and becomes stuck closed or open. My IAC problem resulted in a high idle, which was fixed by removing the throttle body, checking and cleaning, and removing some fipg that somehow worked its way that far.

You may not have a check engine light, but get your codes checked via OBD II port, and refer to the FSM found in the FAQ section. Check all PCV hoses and vacuum lines. Hopefully it will be something simple like mine was.

mine was doing that, and was getting worse over time. I took off the throttle body and IAC and cleaned both. Put new gaskets for both and the truck starts like new and idles without issue. worth the hours work in my opinion.
