Exclamation TTORA TakeOver 2009 - August 7th, 8th and 9th

Well, after much time and research with trying to come up with the location for the 09 TakeOver, we've finally come to a conclusion.

This year's TakeOver was scheduled to be held within our Central Region. All the chapters that were involved in the research process for possible locations have done an excellent job. I appreciate the time and effort they put into researching the locations.

So, to cut to the chase...

This year's TakeOver will be held at the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The event will be held August 7th, 8th & 9th 2009. The hosting chapters for this event will be the Arkansas and Texas Chapters and their staff will be heading up the trail portion of the event!

UPDATE: Register here!

Thanks!

Nice meeting you Glen, Josh, and the rest of the AR crew. We at Texas look forward on working together for a promising event.

Let the mayhem begin.

Alright! I was hoping it would be there. Cause I didn't really feel like driving 12+ hours to Texas, no offense to the Texas members. Just my 4Runner isn't quite fixed up yet to make long long distance travels. Eventually it will be...someday.

Hey Shannon, any word yet on how much the park admission is going to be this year?

Any deals being worked on as far as you know?

and I am guessing the dinner is going to be at the amusement park again?

How much? And just throwin' this out there, but has anyone in the AR/TX chapters been to Clayton? Talked to guys that've wheeled all over the US and the concensus is pretty much the same: "If you can wheel Clayton, Oklahoma, then you can wheel anywhere!"

Just sayin...

Although clayton sounds fun, the one thing we try to do here is make sure there are trails for EVERYONE.

Since we still have members with stock trucks, we make it a point to pick locations so that they can have as much fun as the members with fully built buggies and truggies.

I don't think Clayton is designed for those with stock vehicles.

I believe Glen is going to talk to BJ about a group rate, if not then I can do it to see if a better rate can be obtained for the event.

Just for reference though, here are the normal rates of the park...

http://www.orvpark.com/fees.asp

As for the banquet dinner, I have to get all that approved through Toyota first...so I gotta get the ball rolling on that.

Thanks
