Date: Labor Day Weekend - September 4-6, 2009

Location: Tracy City, TN

Directions:

Basecamp: Laurel Trails Campground‎

From Nashville

From Chattanooga


Accomodations: (As always we prefer everyone camp together for the camaraderie, but if you must, there are a few local hotels.)
Full RV hookups and primitve available, reservations unecessary, bath house, pavilion, lots of shade! Private lake, fishing no license req.
Directions and pricing soon! Prepay will be setup if you wish to do so, otherwise campground accepts CASH ONLY!

More Info: anything I can think of will be added.
***Guided Trail Rides September 4-6. There will be a difficulty rating trail ride sign-up on site. There are plenty of trails on 22,000+ acres from mild to wild.
***Bring a swimsuit, there may be opportunities to cool off.
***BYOB and Bring your own food.
***Please bring everything you need! There is not much in the surrounding area except fast food, 3-5 hotels, and a Fred's. The gas stations do have basic beer, food, and toiletries.

TSHIRTS MUST BE PREPAYED PERIOD. (this would also be a convenient opportunity to go ahead and prepay for the whole shebang)
Prepay for the event is optional, ONLY CASH will be accepted at the event.

FTR the cookout will be BBQ Pork and Chicken.
Menus will be something on the lines of the following:

BBQ Puled Pork & BBQ Chicken
Baked Beans
Coleslaw
Bread/Buns
Sweet & Unsweet Tea

Cost per plate would be $7.50 per person - kids 8 & under eat free.

*****Tshirts must be paid by August 17th or your order will be cancelled.

The registration form is required. As is prepayment for tshirts. Payment for everything else may be prepayed or paid in CASH ONLY at the event.

If you are only prepaying tshirts, fill out the form completely, but only send payment for the shirt, dont just fill out the tshirt part. The remainder will be due upon arrival.

*****And do not forget to add the $3.00 event fee into your total. It's not optional.

I've never been here, so where is the event actually at? Google shows Monteagle and Swannee, the post list Tracy City. I need to book a hotel, so which city do I need to search for a Hotel in, so I don't end up being 20 miles away?

The Event is being held in Monteagle. (Laurel Camp Grounds)The trail heads are in Tracy City. About 6-10miles from the Event. (depends on which trail you are taking for the day) As far as I know, there are no hotels in Tracy City. Hope this helps. No its time to get some sleep so I can go finish pre running trails. And see how much more stuff we can break tomorrow. haha Ain't that right Colin.

Hey fellas just found out about this ride, i'd like to join if thats ok. We don't have toyota mini trucks. If its ok, it's gonna be me, 79 fj40, my buddy, 78 fj40, and another buddy that has just a old buggy with a chevy v8. We'd like to join, let me know if its cool.

Yeah thats fine. You can either register and prepay online or we'll catch you at the campground. We'll have a registration table setup for everyone, preregistered or not.
