Now that Doc and I completed our 5,400KM down and back from Moab with completion of the Cliffhanger Trail, Behind the Rocks Trail and another side trail in Montana called Blacktail/Wildbill (Rated #2 by BFG in 2008) in Montana... the 315's are pretty decent with stock gears on the highway and on trail. But.... a crawl box would be ideal!

One thing the wheel's and tire's are pretty heavy and stopping takes quite a bit more force on the pedal... perhaps a TRD big brake kit might have to cure this issue?!

Even if Hutchinson was being retarded.. the Rockmonster beads performed amazingly well... the bolts broke some rock with no damage to the bolts. Wheels did take some scarring but thats expected.

Fender clearance was perfect on the front with little additional trimming on the rear. Will have to go bigger bumpstops in the front if I were to pre-run the sand at a way higher rate of speed.

Thank you Sarah at All-Pro for warrantying my Lower LT arms as I tweaked the passenger side sometime this winter. Oh and the new arms they make are Chromo instead of older rolled steal!

All in all... 315's turned out better than expected.

Does TRD make a big brake kit for 6 lugs now? They make them for the X-Runner but they don't fit our trucks.

not sure... good question though.. i've gotta research it a bit more.

Rotora makes a set for the 6lug... don't really know how quality it is. Other option is EBC slotted and EBC pads.

Your truck looks great but with 315's and the 45lb Hutchinson wheels you'll have to be more careful on the type of the obstacles you go through, it's alot more weight then the steering rack, cv's and tie rods were engineered to handle, you'll be stressing out those components alot more!

What size tube and wall size did you use for the rear?
