Default Shipping from the mainland

Howzit guys. born and raised MAUI, so yup I'm from hawaii.

So I emailed Wheelers off road for a shipping quote on OME Leaf Springs, shocks and all that other rear suspension stuff. They said $315-$320! Does that sound correct? cause holy shit thats like buying 2 sets of leaf springs. Anyone know if any 4x4 shop in hawaii has OME? any suggestions let me know... mahalos

Sounds about right I think. I gotta go check if I can find my receipts.

Ok, found the receipts. Total shipping was $353
included:
DR c/o
Deaver springs
Bilstien rears
Other misc. items

Ordered the black steelies as well, shipping was more than the rims $224. I found out later that I could have probably gotten them from 4wheel parts, eventhough 4wp said that they don't have them.

My Demello sliders were sent DHX and that was only $80 bucks or so. Those things are long and heavy.

The price you pay for living in paradise.

You can call Maui off road and see if they can bring them in.

Called Maui Off Road, only got skyjacker leafs for $569! I think I'll just go with wheelers and the crazy ass shipping. The way I figure it is the OME springs are $330 and exactly what I want. Skyjacker is $569 and not what I want, difference of $239, might as well pay little bit more for what I really want.
Need the damn superferry to go to the mainland...

I ran into the same problem trying to get some of trail-gears springs. The springs were only $199 but shipping was $260!!! John over at kajobuilt.com is a vendor through TG but of course springs were the only thing he couldnt make shipping cheaper on. Good luck.

I ordered my OME Dakar leaf springs from 4 Wheel Parts, and it was only a little over $300 for the springs. That doesn't count the shipping (or "stock transfer fee" or whatever they call that). So, it doesn't sound like the extra for shipping to Maui is too crazy.

Good luck in getting it, and enjoy it when it arrives!

Have a great day,
-Radar
