not entirely. it's a DD/trail rig. I think I can probably build it up and keep it w/ better mileage than the lexus gets. Let's just say we're gonna have to part out what's left of the 4runner.

edit: we're gonna have to part out what's left of the '85 4runner, not Jodi's 4runner. That's still got to be finished up (hopefully soon)

well, if it goes the way I have it planned, we'll have a good bit of 4runner to sell afterward. that's all I'm gonna say until i unveil it in all it's virginal, untouched innocence.

not yet. it's quite the opposite. It won't turn black until I bring it over to the dark side, but it will be murdered out.

no, it's not a 4runner, and the engine runs nicely. And anyway, the 85 is in a bad way when it comes to the body and stuff. We'll see. If I could sell it for enough to buy EVERYTHING I want for the project, I wouldn't have to dissect it.

I haven't picked it up yet. I'm not going to work until 2:30 tomorrow, so if I can get someone to ride out w/ me, I'm gonna try to pick it up in the morning. Then, it begins.

I take back my comment about the MudDog thread being the gayest thread of 2008 so far, this is definitely it.

Okay. That's fine. But before you pass judgement, here's the theme for this build:
