I do, I was just wondering how the backspacing was on the FJ wheels compared to tacomas? Will they stick out or in? How do you think they would look on my slightly lifted truck?

 

they will fit fine but b/c of the 5" offset, they will rub on the chassis on full turn. a 1" offset disk will fix that. now ya know.

I'm not a fan of the FJC wheels, but that's just me. I think they just look out of place on a Tacoma. And the 17's just look a bit too big on the 1st Gen Tacoma's, too, IMO.

Yes and no. You will need a wheel spacer to keep them off the frame.

No, he won't. With the 265/70/17 sized tires, he'll be fine with the offset and no spacers. However, if he wants to run wider tires, then he'll run into clearance issues.
